I am so excited about all that God is doning in and through GCF. This has been a long Winter for sure and like most of you I am suffering from some cabin fever. I want to be outside so bad that I have resorted to looking up pictures of warm places on the internet and listening to beach music just to pretend I am in warmth. We were blessed however with having The Well this winter and we gt out of the weekly set-up and tear down for our Sunday Gatherings. But we have all missed Gathering in the Gym at Carriage Hill. It is still home for GCF- so we are back!
Recently we got together to meet about GCF activity for this Spring and Summer. The input from everyone was awesome and I believe that God has some powerful things coming to this neighborhood this year. We are committed to getting the word to our neighbors about needs in the community and encouraging them to be a part of meeting those needs.
We have some plans in the works for a couple of large community block parties at Carriage Hill, Some outdoor worship nights, a food drive for our Backpack Buddies Program, Backyard Bible Camps, Ministry to Special Needs Families, Marriage Enrichment Seminar, and of course Papillion Days activities. Keep an eye on this site for details.
I encourage you and your family to join us in mission to the neighborhood. Attend our gatherings on Sundays and learn more about who we are and how you can be a part. It is a pleasure to minister in this community.
